Next month...

First topic message reminder :
Since this is recruitment month(according to the message at the top) I guess we'll be having a general objective for each month. So, my I suggest next month be "Fortify Month" were we hone our skills, decide who our targets are, and sort out clan members(approprite rank and who just plain shouldn't be in the clan). Let me know what you think.

Endermen are new enemy mobs that will be coming in 1.8. Notch released a screenshot of them and they seem to be holding blocks in their hands. Notch released some info after the image saying that when you look at these Endermen they stay perfectly still, but if you look away they will charge at you at great speed to attack. They can teleport into your sight if you move to far away aswell. Creepy stuff.

I was thinking instead of just directly trading the materials, gold could be a nice currency to use if we gave it a set value. Then we could have a bank and proper shops eventually.

I know I'm not really "in" the clan yet, but If you would rather just jump onto another MC server for these "survival nights," A friend of mine and I run a MC server together. It has some plugins, but nothing that will prevent you from having these hard-core nights. The server is currently just P2P survival, with a class system that can just be ignored. As an Admin, I could just section off a large area for the clan to play in, far away from the rest of the server.

It will work like this, i will announce to the site in advance that on a certain date we will be having MC survival night at a certain time. We will all join in and play as you would when you first start minecraft. Well all gather different resources make some basic tools and a basic shelter. Well hunt for a nice place for a permanent settlement and all get building, trading goods for things we need and basically functioning like a community.
